About Us

Friends Fouad and Bouchra were discussing Fouad’s recent operations for breathing issues. He’d discovered that a lack of chewing in childhood and adolescence could have a massive impact in later life. Long story short, all kids need to chew way more or their jaws won’t develop properly which can lead to crooked teeth, breathing issues and even sleep apnea long term.

Given Bouchra was a food scientist with over 20 years experience in the food industry (think Innocent, Gu, M&S, Tonys, Cadburys for starters) they decided to combine their experiences and develop a snack range that could contribute towards stopping this problem, and that tasted as good as the chocolate and snacks on the market but required way more chew.

After 2 years of tinkering and tasting different recipes and ingredients, Jawsome Clusters and Bars debuted at a school fete in London in June 2026…

The result? We were the busiest stand and even outsold Haribo! The kids loved them!

Now we simply want as many people as possible who enjoy a sweet treat to switch out to a more beneficial alternative, and we hope that chewing these hard snacks daily will remind them to seek out hard foods more often!
